Touched down at 6 Kenmore Road on Sunday 23rd October.  This home has 11 rooms; what do we do with the other 10? This home has 10 beds; none more comfortable than the one we have used for the past 4 months! This home has 1.5 acres of land attached; why do we want that much?

We have inspected, and approve of, Tristan Neil; born to Kylie and Ryan on Wednesday 19th  and weighing in at  6lb 4oz. Sue in particular is delighted at having a grandchild just down the road.

We glimpsed but a small part of this vast country; and we no doubt missed at least twice as much as we saw along the route. Our journey was effected by annual rainfall totals greater than many previous years, even decades, in every region visited. The result was scenery rarely provided in this generally arid continent.

As we returned across South Australia, less than a week ago, the smell and smoke from huge bushfires was very noticeable.  These fires, hundreds of kilometres to the north, were created by the late dry season thunder & lightening storms across many of the regions we had visited. It underlined to us, dare we say, the privilege  afforded us as a result of the fortunate timing of our journey.
